    • Attach the documents evidencing your residence address and employment.

    You can also apply for and fill in the data for a MasterCard Debit Card (optional) should you wish to do so.

Opening an account at the website

This option is available for account holders over 18 years old.

This option allows you to conveniently start the account opening process on the website
and then finish it much quicker at any branch.

Scanned Citizen Card, Identification Card or other valid identification document and the Tax Payer Number of each one of the account holders. Identification

Due to the upload of documents you will be required to do in this process, it becomes necessary to ensure that your computer is equipped with the most recent browser version. The following versions will not enable you to complete this process: Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), IE9 and OperaMini 8.

Millennium bcp is the sole responsible for handling the personal data collected throughout the process and the purpose of the collection exclusively relates the opening of a current account with the Bank.

There are, in the data collection form, fields the filling in of which is mandatory. If not filled in, the process will not reach completion.

The Bank ensures the legal right to inform, correct, amend or suppress personal data by means of a written communication addressed to the Bank.





Opening an Account - Branch

You can always go to a Branch and carry out the entire process with one of our Managers.

1. Select the Branch of your choice and schedule an appointment with a Manager of the Branch who will provide you with all the information and help you need to open an account.

2. Collect the required identification documents for all the account holders and intervening individuals.

For when the presence at a Branch / Representation Office of Millennium bcp, by the holders, is not possible

In case you live in Portugal

The certification of the documents for the opening of an account in Portugal may be carried out by the following entities:

  • Credit Institutions;
  • Notary offices;
  • Solicitors and Lawyers;
  • Chambers of Commerce and Industry (recognized under the terms of Decree-Law 244/92, of 29 October);
  • Local/parish authorities;
  • CTT - Correios de Portugal (Portuguese postal services, under the terms of Decree-Law 28/2000, of 13 March).
  • Consulates.

In case you live abroad

The certification of the documents for the opening of an account in Portugal may be carried out by the following entities:

  • Local entities with the Hague Apostille;
  • Portuguese Consulates and Embassies;
  • Millennium bcp Representation Offices (Germany; South Africa; Brazil; United Kingdom; Switzerland and  Venezuela);
  • Branches of Banque BCP France and Luxembourg.
