We are aware that there is malicious software that is spread through fraudulent
email messages with Millennium bcp logo in order to give the message credibility.

After clicking on the annex of the fraudulent message, malicious software is installed on the user's computer, and the following pop-ups are displayed after logging into the website and accessing the transactional toolbar:

This pop-up freezes the computer and the progress bar (above) appears to show the execution of an "install/update" operation. At the end of this process, a new message appears requesting an Authorisation Code, as shown in the following image:

We call attention to the flawed sentence structure and grammatical errors of the text, and remind you that Millennium bcp:
- Does not send Authorisation Codes for transactions simulation;
- Does not send SMS or e-mail's with links.

Please read carefully the contents of the text message, because when you provide an Authorisation Code you are confirming a transaction in your account or the Millennium App setup on a mobile phone.


Please be reminded that...

Millennium bcp sends email messages:
  • NEVER requests the installation/updating of software after access;
  • NEVER sends SMS with links;
  • NEVER sends Email with links
  • NEVER requests the full Multichannel Code (the 7 digits);
  • NEVER requests your mobile phone number;
  • NEVER requests the Authorisation Code sent by SMS, through the phone;
  • NEVER requests Authorisation Codes for transactions simulation.
Millennium bcp's website is accessed using the User Code and three random positions of the Multichannel Code;
Whenever you access your bank accounts through the Millennium bcp website, check if the address starts with (for the Individuals access) and (for the Companies access) and that, at the end of the address bar, a lock is shown, as follows:


Carefully read the contents of the SMS received with Authorization Codes that, apart from the code also contain the data of the transaction. In case you receive an SMS without making a transaction, please contact us immediately.
You should analyse the e-mails you receive before opening them always confirming the source, the subject and the spelling and, if you remain with doubts, delete the e-mail without opening it.

Remember: The protection of your assets and of your computer depends on you!
