New Alert for SMS on "Adesão de Segurança Obrigatória"

We are aware that several Clients and non-Clients received SMS's with links,
requesting that the making of "Adesão de Segurança obrigatória" (mandatory access for security reasons), as exemplified below:


Millennium bcp does not send SMS with links 


After accessing the link, the download of an App is requested: "Sec_Millennium_app.apk":


Millennium bcp does not request the installation of any App 


The phone alerts you that it is installing an application from an unreliable source:




In the installation process, permission is requested to read and receive the SMS and MMS received on the phone:


The name of the Bank is not correctly identified: Mileniumsm 


With the installation of App mentioned above, you are allowing the Authorisation Code(s) to be forwarded,
which can be used for services payment, bank transfers,
creation of MBNet cards or even the installation of the Millennium App in an unknown device.

When you run the malicious App, a browser window opens with the phishing site,
where the User Code and the full Multichannel Access Code are requested:

Please be reminded that...

Millennium bcp:
  • NEVER sends SMS/email with links;
  • NEVER requests the installation/synchronization of software;
  • NEVER requests personal Data when accessing the Bank online (such as your TIN, passwords, phone numbers);
  • NEVER requests Authorisation Codes for transactions simulation.
The access to Millennium bcp's website is done by entering the User Code and three random positions of the Multichannel Access Code;
Whenever you access your bank accounts through the Millennium bcp website, check if the address starts with (for the Individuals access) and (for the Companies access) and that, at the end of the address bar, a lock is shown, as follows:


Carefully read the contents of the SMS received with Authorization Codes that, apart from the code also contain the data of the transaction. In case you receive an SMS without making a transaction, please contact us immediately.

Analyse the e-mails you receive before opening them, always
confirming the source and the subject and also the spelling.
If you still have doubts, delete the e-mails without opening them.
