Warning - Fraudulent e-mails - Do not open links

Several customers of Millennium bcp have been receiving e-mails with the subject "Prezado Cliente...", alerting for the existence of incorrect data and threatening with the blockage of the access codes in case you do not make the "Verificação" through a link made available in the message.

Example of the e-mail sent:

It represents another case of Phishing wherein when you access the link, a login page similar to the one presented by Millennium bcp but located at another website, appears:

We remind you once again:

  • If you receive an e-mail message requesting that you access Millennium bcp's website through a link, don't trust it! The e-mails sent by the Millennium bcp never have links, nor any software for immediate installation in the computer;
  • Phishing aims to, abusively, steal personal data through messages that take the user to fake websites, imitating those you usually access and requesting that you enter confidential data.
  • Do not open e-mails without guaranteeing the identity of the sender and confirming the subject.  In case you have doubts on the origin of the e-mail message, delete it immediately without executing any file or attachment that it contains;
  • Avoid opening links to external websites and opening executable files;
  • Never provide personal information or data in an e-mail reply;
  • When accessing confidential access websites, check the address and make sure you are on a secure webpage (https://  + lock);
  • Install (if you haven't done so yet) an antivirus software and update it regularly.
