Alert for notices "Utilizador desativado evite Multa"


We are aware that several Clients and non-Clients received Notification SMS with a link,
indicating that the User is "desativado" (deactivated), as example below:

 

Millennium bcp does not send SMS with links

 

After accessing the message link, a page appears (in the mobile phone), as you can see below:

 

Request for User Code

 

It represents another case of phishing with the purpose of capturing
the User Code and the full Multichannel Code, as follows:

 

Request for the entire Multichannel Code: 3 + 4 positions

 

This phishing action also requests the following data:

 

Millennium bcp never requests your mobile phone number or data from bank cards in login

 

Afterwards, it says that the User will be contacted:

 

Never provide Authorization Codes by phone to strangers

 

The purpose of this contact, made by criminals, is to request Authorization code(s)
to execute payments of services, bank transfers or create MBNet Cards.

 


Please read carefully the contents of the text message, because when you confirm an Authorization Code
you may be confirming a transaction with your account or the Millennium App set-up on a mobile phone and...

Please be reminded that...

Millennium bcp sends e-mail messages:
  • Without links;
  • Without executable files;
  • Without requesting the installation of software;
  • Without requesting personal data, such as the TIN, passwords or mobile phone number.
Millennium bcp's website is accessed using the User Code and three random positions of the Multichannel Code;
Whenever you access your bank accounts through the Millennium bcp website, check if the address starts with https://ind.millenniumbcp.pt/ (for the Individuals access) and https://emp.millenniumbcp.pt (for the Companies access) and that, at the end of the address bar, a lock is shown, as follows:

Carefully read the contents of the SMS received with Authorization Codes that, apart from the code also contain the data of the transaction. In case you receive an SMS without making a transaction, please contact us immediately.




You should analyse the e-mails you receive before opening them always confirming the source,
the subject and the spelling and, if you remain with doubts, delete the e-mail without opening it;
