Warning for “Notificação nova mensagem”


We have been alerted that several Clients and non-Clients received e-mail messages
supposedly sent by Millennium bcp with the subject "notificação nova mensagem”
(“New Message Notification”)
, telling the Client to open a link as you can see below:

 

 

It represents another case of phishing wherein when you access the link,
a login page similar to the one presented by Millennium bcp, but located at another website
(URL www.angelabornia.com), appears:

 

 

After the Client enters the User Code and the Multichannel Access Code,
an Authorization Code is immediately requested:

 

 

Please read carefully the contents of the text message, because when you provide an Authorization Code
you confirm a transaction with your account or the Millennium App setup on a mobile phone.

 

The cyber-criminal may even insist on requesting the sequential request for
Authorization Codes to make successive transactions using your account.

 

Never enter the Code you received on you mobile phone,
in the fraudulent page, in the place indicated below:

Please be reminded that...

• Millennium bcp sends e-mail messages:
  • Without links;
  • Without executable files;
  • Without requesting the installation of software;
  • Without requesting personal data, such as the TIN, passwords or mobile phone number.
Millennium bcp's website is accessed using the User Code and three random positions of the Multichannel Code;
Whenever you access your bank accounts through the Millennium bcp website, check if the address starts with https://ind.millenniumbcp.pt/ (for the Individuals access) and https://emp.millenniumbcp.pt (for the Companies access) and that, at the end of the address bar, a lock is shown, as follows:

Carefully read the contents of the SMS received with Authorization Codes that, apart from the code also contain the data of the transaction. In case you receive an SMS without making a transaction, please contact us immediately.




You should analyse the e-mails you receive before opening them always confirming the source,
the subject and the spelling and, if you remain with doubts, delete the e-mail without opening it;
