Other issues

Everything your children need to know:

What is a current account?

A current account is an account where they can deposit their allowance or the money given to them by their parents, grandparents, godparents, etc. It is managed by their parents or legal representatives until they become of age.

Why should they access the Bank online?

When they turn 14, they may be given access to their account online. This way, after logging into millenniumbcp.pt, they can view their account and debit/credit entries whenever they want, as well as check the balance on their savings without having to go to a Branch or wait for the monthly statement.

What is a pre-paid card?

A pre-paid card is a card that can be topped up with the amount necessary for them to make payments and withdrawals with total security and controlling the balance.

What are programmed savings?

A savings plan is a practical way to make their money grow in the Bank, saving regularly. But for that to happen, it is necessary to create a savings plan with monthly deliveries.

What are interests in savings?

Interests in this case are the amounts the Bank pays to compensate its clients for savings deposits. When a client decides to make savings the goal is for the money deposited to grow. The interests are what guarantees that growth. When interests are compounded, it means that they are reinvested with the savings, enabling them to grow even more.

What is a civil liability insurance?

This is a type of insurance that pays the indemnity in case of damages caused to third parties. For instance, if a child with Millennium GO! UP breaks a shop window with a bicycle, the insurance company will pay for a new window under the terms of the agreement signed (insurance policy).

What is a fee?

A fee is the amount the Bank charges for the products and services it provides to its customers.
