Fees and Commissions

Subscribing to the Frequent Client Solution implies paying a monthly fee:

  • 4,5 €/ per month provided that the 1st account holder meets one of the following conditions (conditions established in the previous month):
    • Regularly receives a 500 € or higher wage or pension and has monthly charges of 150 € or more in purchases (at POS) with the debit and/or credit cards associated with the current account
      or
    • Has financial assets with Millennium bcp amounting to 7,500 € or more.
      Financial Assets: monthly average of the financial assets of the 1st holder (except for insurances: balance at the end of the month) and does not include the balance of the current account or companies insurances.
  • 6€/ per month provided that the 1st account holder complies with the following condition (conditions established in the previous month):
    • Regularly receives a 500 € or higher wage or pension
  • Otherwise, the Client will have to pay an 8 € monthly fee.

All the fees indicated are subject to Stamp Tax as per the legal rates in effect.

Features

Current Account - 16.3% TAEG

By subscribing the Cliente Frequente Solution, the associated account will be exempt from maintenance fees of up to 5.20 €/month.

Access to an overdraft facility up to 250 €: 7.74 € of interest plus 0.30 € of stamp tax and 1.44 € of stamp tax for using an overdraft amounting to 250 € for a period of 90 days (12.400% TAN - Nominal Annual Rate, 16.3% TAEG - Global Annual Effective Rate). Subject to credit assessment.

The overdraft facility requires the subscription by the holders of the respective contract in a separate document, entered into exclusively for that purpose.

Transfers

You will be exempt from the payment of fees for transfers in Euros (not urgent) to countries that are SEPA members (28 EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway and Switzerland) or in currencies ruled by the Regulation (EC) nr. 924/2009 (Euros, Swedish Kronor and Romanian Lei), provided that the order indicates the BIN, or the IBAN and BIC SWIFT (depending on the destination of the transfer) and made through automated channels (ATM, Millennium bcp internal self-banking by debit of the associated account, in an unlimited number, subject to the specific limits of each channel and up to the maximum amount of 50,000 € per transaction (or counter value if in Swedish Krona or Romanian Lei), with a maximum of 1 €/ transfer.

Cheques

Exemption from the payment of the expenses due for the issue of up to 1 group of 5 crossed non-endorsable cheques, per month, through the Self-Banking of Millennium bcp, with a maximum of 6.25 €/ month.

Each cheque issued is subject to stamp tax, in the amount of 5 cents.

Debit Card

Includes 2 Mastercard Débito cards, free of annual fees amounting to 18 €/each for two Holders of the Associated Account.

Credit Card

Includes 2 credit cards Millennium bcp Classic, free from annual fees, in the amount of 10 € each plus stamp tax:13.1% TAEG (Global Annual Effective Rate) and 10.400% TAN (Nominal Annual Rate) for a 1,500 € credit paid over 12 equal monthly repayments, plus interests and expenses.

Home Medical Emergency Insurance

It includes a Home Medical Emergency Insurance that covers the holder, spouse or equivalent, and economically dependent children that live at the same address and in Portugal, are single and under 24 year old). This insurance covers, in case of medical emergency, home medical services, of which we point out the medical house call, transportation by an ambulance and the baby-sitting service, among other. Use requires a co-payment of 10 € per visit and can be requested through the phone number 210 347 933 (working days from 20h to 7h; non-working days, 24h).

Family Civil Liability Insurance

It includes a Family Civil Liability Insurance that also covers your family (spouse or equivalent and economically dependent children that live at the same address and in Portugal, are single and under 24 year old). In damages caused to third parties within the scope of their private life, this insurance, guarantees a maximum capital per annuity of 150,000 €, with a sub-limit of 25,000 € per injured person.

Others Insurance

5% discount in the first annual premium in all options of the Médis Health Care Plan and a 5% discount while the contract is in effect in the insurances Homin (base cover for Building and/or Contents), Personal Accidents (Personal Protection) and Life Protection.

These conditions are valid for new policies subscribed until 31/12/2018.

All the fees indicated are subject to Stamp Tax.
All credit operations and issue of cheques are subject to credit risk assessment.
The information on insurances does not dispense with the reading of the legally required pre-contractual and contractual information.
These benefits are only valid while you are a subscriber of this solution. The termination of the subscription agreement shall determine the application of the pricing in force for each of the products and services that continue active.
Other expenses due to the use of the associated banking services and products may become due.
