I reside abroad, how can I contact my Bank?

How can I find out if Millenniumbcp operates in my country of residence?

All you have to do is use the locator function to find our Representation Offices abroad/Partner Banks abroad.

I am currently living/working abroad, do I have to change my address?

You should do that because depending on your classification as resident or non-resident you are entitled to a differentiated and specific offer of products and services.

Can I change my address to an address located abroad?

Alteration of an Address located Abroad to another Address also located Abroad:
At millenniumbcp.pt you cannot alter addresses located abroad. In this case, you should call our helpdesk, using the phones:

Alteration of an Address located in Portugal to another Address located abroad:
It is important to note that, if you wish to alter an address in Portugal to an address located abroad, this alteration should be requested at your Branch or by going to one of our Representation Offices abroad/Partner Banks abroad.

Alteration of an Address located in Portugal to another address located in Portugal:
If you wish to alter the address you have in Portugal, associated with your current accounts (Individually), you may do so by calling our helpdesk or at millenniumbcp.pt, by selecting "Accounts", and the option "Account Data/Address".

The change requested will only apply to the address to which the current account statements are sent and to the respective associated accounts, as well as to debit/credit slips and other types of generic correspondence. Your tax address, named Customer address and used to send tax statements issued by Millennium bcp, will not be altered. If you intend to alter the tax address you must go to a Branch and take with you a proof of the new address (for example copy of a utility company invoice).

What do I have to do to access the accounts through the website?
  • If you already have the Username and the Access Code – Just do login at millenniumbcp.pt and acess to your current accounts.
  • If you already have the Access Code – You must go to millenniumbcp.pt and do the register, under "Register".
  • If you do not have the Username and the Access Code yet  - you may get them at any Branch or at any of our Representation Offices abroad/Partner Banks abroad.

As an alternative, you can send us a letter using the draftthat you will find under "Register> If you reside outside Portugal, click here ", available at the Millennium bcp website.

The moment you have the Username in your possession, all you have to do is go to the homebanking to register and confirm how simple it is to access your accounts.

I live abroad, how can I get the Access Code?

In case you reside abroad you may get the Code at any Branch or any of our Representation Offices abroad/Partner Banks abroad.

As an alternative, you can send us a letter using the draft that you will find under "Register > If you reside outside Portugal, click here ", available at the Millennium bcp website.

Later on you will receive the Access Code, together with a Subscription Agreement that you must fill in, sign and send to us so that we may be able to activate the Code sent.

I live abroad but my address is still the one I had in Portugal. Can I ask for an Access Code to be sent to me?

The Bank only sends the Access Code to addresses that are on our files. Therefore, if your address has not been updated, firstly you should alter the address and only afterwards request the Access Code.

What should I do if I forget my Access Code?

The Access Code used to login to the Millennium bcp website is personal and non-transmissible and therefore the Bank will never know it. Hence, if you forget or lose your code, you must request a new Access Code. We give you the following options:

  • Through an exclusive form - for residents abroad, you may request new access codes by filling in the form available here.
  • In any of the Bank's Branches or any of your Representation Offices abroad/Partner Banks abroad - where the Access Code will be issued immediately and given to you in a sealed envelope, together with the Username. These give you immediate access to the Bank.
  • At an ATM using a card of an account held by the person requesting new access codes, go to "Other operations" > Register at millenniumbcp.pt". You will have to create an Access Code and the Bank will issue a slip with the Username, giving you immediate access to the Millennium bcp website.
I currently reside abroad but my address is still located in Portugal. How can I receive my Confirmation Key?

For safety reasons, the Confirmation Key can only be sent to an address that is on our records. Hence, in this case, you must alter your address and afterwards request a new Confirmation key.

I am currently living abroad but I have bills to pay in Portugal, how can I schedule the payments?

How can I get the the e-Statement?

After login go to "Accounts". Then click on "E-documents" and "Apply". In case you wish to receive the documents also by email please click on "Send by e-mail".

As an alternative, you can apply for the E-documents in any of the Bank's Branches or any of your Representation Offices abroad/Partner Banks abroad.

I live abroad, can I request cheques?

You can request cheques in any of your Representation Offices abroad/Partner Banks abroad.

I would like to invest in Portugal by purchasing a real estate property. Does the Bank have a specific offer?

What do I have to do to use the Millennium bcp App for smartphone or tablet?

If you are a Customer of Millennium bcp, you just have to be registered at millenniumbcp.pt and have an equipment compatible with the App to become a user of the Millennium App. Then, all you have to do is download and install the App.

Is it possible to use the Millennium App abroad?

Yes. The access to Millennium App is made through mobile data and/or wireless network. This way, the functioning of the App abroad will depend on the services you purchase from your mobile operator or on the access to Wi-Fi.
