Fraudulent SMS with the subject "pin do cartão débito/crédito foram desativados"


We do hereby alert you for SMS, supposedly sent by Millennium bcp with the subject "pin do cartão débito/crédito foram desativados", requesting you to access a link, as exemplified below:

 

Millennium bcp NEVER sends SMS with links

 

It represents another case of phishing with the purpose of capturing the access codes and record transactions in the banking account, as shown by the screens below:

 

Millennium bcp NEVER requests the full Multichannel Access Code (the 7 digits)

 

 

We do hereby alert you that, in this phishing action, the mobile phone number is also requested.

By transmitting the data identified above, you are authorizing third parties to access your account and consult your financial assets, and later make a phone call to request the Authorisation Code.

Please be reminded that Millennium bcp:
DOES NOT SEND SMS with links;
DOES NOT request the full Multichannel Access Code (the 7 digits);
DOES NOT request the Client’s mobile phone number;

DOES NOT request, by phone the authorization codes sent by SMS.

Please read carefully the Authorisation Code received. If you haven’t requested it, please contact us immediately.

  • NEVER request, by phone the authorization codes sent by SMS;
  • NEVER requests Authorisation Codes for transactions simulation;

Always check carefully the contents of the SMS you receive with authorization codes that, apart from the code, contain data of the transaction. In case you receive a SMS without having made a transaction, please contact us immediately.




Analyse the e-mails you receive before opening them, always confirming the source, the subject and the spelling.
If you still have doubts, delete the e-mails without opening them.
