Alert for fraudulent SMS: "Utilizador e código de acesso multicanal desactivado"

Millennium bcp DOES NOT send SMS with links

We do hereby alert you for e-mail messages, supposedly sent by Millennium bcp
with the subjects "Utilizador e código de acesso desativado", requesting you to access a link,
as exemplified below:



It represents another case of phishing with the purpose of capturing the full access codes,
personal data and the data of the banking card, as such



Millennium bcp DOES NOT request the full Multichannel Access Code (the 7 digits)

This phishing action also requests the following data:



Following this phishing action the Authorisation Codes sent by SMS to the Customer
are requested by PHONE to CONFIRM transactions (for ex. Transfers, Payment of Services, Payment of Purchases, MBNet Cards).

By transmitting the Authorisation Code, the transactions will be debited in the bank account!

When revealing the Authorisation Codes the transactions are debited from the bank account!



Please be reminded that...

Millennium bcp:
  • NEVER request the installation/update of software after access;
  • NEVER SEND SMS with links;
  • NEVER SEND email messages with links;
  • NEVER request the full Multichannel Code (the 7 digits);
  • NEVER request the Client's mobile phone number;
  • NEVER request, by phone the authorization codes sent by SMS;
  • NEVER requests Authorisation Codes for transactions simulation;
The access to Millennium bcp's website is done by entering the User Code and three random positions of the Access Code;
Whenever you access your bank accounts using Millennium bcp Website, make sure that the address begins with (Individuals access) and (Companies access) and that at the end of the address, a lock is shown, as below:


Always check carefully the contents of the SMS you receive with authorization codes that, apart from the code, contain data of the transaction. In case you receive a SMS without having made a transaction, please contact us immediately.

Analyse the e-mails you receive before opening them, always confirming the source, the subject and the spelling.
If you still have doubts, delete the e-mails without opening them.

Remember: The protection of your assets and of your computer depends on you!
