Millennium bcp NEVER requests the installation/update of software after access

There is a malware which is being disseminated through e-mail messages identifying
names of trustworthy entities or individual/family contacts from the user with the purpose
of making the message credible.

In case you access the LINK and execute the file, do not access bank websites and
request immediately a technical intervention to remove the Malware from your equipment.


The installation of the Malware on the user’s equipment occurs after accessing the link of a fraudulent
e-mail message being shown the following pop-ups after accessing the website of Millennium bcp:



This pop-up freezes the computer and the progress bar (above) appears to show the execution
of an “install/update” operation. By the end of this process, Authorization Codes are requested
to “simulate” transactions, as shown in the following images:




We call attention to the flawed sentence structure and grammatical errors of the text,

Please read carefully the contents of the text message,
because when you provide an Authorisation Code you are confirming
a transaction in your account or the set-up of Millennium App on a mobile phone.



Please be reminded that...

Millennium bcp:
  • NEVER request the installation/update of software after access;
  • NEVER SEND SMS with links;
  • NEVER SEND email messages with links;
  • NEVER request the full Multichannel Code (the 7 digits);
  • NEVER request the Client’s mobile phone number;
  • NEVER request, by phone the authorization codes sent by SMS;
  • NEVER requests Authorisation Codes for transactions simulation;
The access to Millennium bcp's website is done by entering the User Code and three random positions of the Access Code;
Whenever you access your bank accounts using Millennium bcp Website, make sure that the address begins with (Individuals access) and (Companies access) and that at the end of the address, a lock is shown, as below:


Always check carefully the contents of the SMS you receive with authorization codes that, apart from the code, contain data of the transaction. In case you receive a SMS without having made a transaction, please contact us immediately.

Analyse the e-mails you receive before opening them, always confirming the source, the subject and the spelling.
If you still have doubts, delete the e-mails without opening them.

Remember: The protection of your assets and of your computer depends on you!
