Millennium bcp was again distinguished in Portugal as Consumer's Choice 2022, in the "Large Banks" category, with a final score of 82.08% and a satisfaction score of 82.73%. This is the second consecutive year in which the Bank has been elected Consumer's Choice.

Millennium bcp is the No. 1 bank - among the five Large Banks in Portugal - in eight of the ten categories evaluated in this study: Clear Information, Responsiveness, Brand Credibility, Easy-to-Use Digital Channels, Fees Charged, Products Simple Communication and Easy Understanding, Speed of Response and, also, Good Online Service. In the remaining two categories - Security and Solidity - Millennium bcp is ranked second among the five Big Banks in Portugal.

This year's evaluation also considered the analysis of the Regulator (Banco de Portugal), in the Behavioural Supervision Report for the 1st Semester of 2021. After integrating this analysis, Millennium bcp cements its position as No. 1 in the "Large Banks" category, even increasing the advantage over the second ranked bank.

When asked about the preferred relationship channels with Millennium bcp, the answer most used by respondents - with 48% of the results - was "Digital: Homebanking, automatic and Mobile (APP)".

For the 10th consecutive year, ConsumerChoice - Centro de Avaliação da Satisfação do Consumidor - presents the best brands in Portugal. The brand evaluation system, leader in Portugal, reveals the 149 brands awarded "Consumer's Choice", "Professionals' Choice" and "Senior Choice", as well as the new demands of consumers regarding brands.

In this year's evaluation process, 259,236 evaluations were carried out with 936 brands from sectors as different as Media, Food, Travel and Leisure, Products, Home Equipment and Hygiene, Personal Care, Services and Specialised Commerce, Beauty Products and Services, Child Care, Financial, Automobile, Railway Transport and Telecommunications.

It is worth remembering that in a first stage, consumers identify which attributes they value most in their relationship with the brands and then they evaluate them through the most appropriate evaluation methodologies (product trial, mystery shopping, online audits, among others). The brands awarded by consumers are the brands that best completed the attributes required and valued by consumers during 2021 and which after evaluation achieved the highest satisfaction degrees.
