What changes on the website?

The coming into force of the second Payment Services Directive (PSD2) requires some changes on millenniumbcp.pt:

  1. On your first homebanking login, apart from the User Code and Multichannel Code, you will have to insert an Authorization Code sent by SMS to your mobile number registered with us;
  2. This Authorization Code will also be requested every 90 days;
  3. If you would like to check your account statements and movements with more than 90 days, the SMS Authorization Code will also be requested.

What changes in Millennium App and M Empresas App?

Nothing. Our security services are able to confirm that the App you've installed is the one being used to make transactions. For this reason, no SMS validation will be requested when using Millennium App or M Empresas App.



How do I confirm that my mobile number is registered in my account?

If you use Millennium bcp homebanking and already get SMS codes to validate transactions, no action is needed from you. But if your transactions don't involve a validation with an SMS code, then check if your mobile number is registered and updated in your account. To do that, please call 91 827 24 24 | 93 522 24 24 | 96 599 24 24 | +351 21 005 24 24 (from Portugal or abroad).
